Red Fish Blue Fish and Baby Jesus
This is going to be a pretty quick post. My Uncle Andy is currently doing some military training in Alabama and came down for a quick visit this Saturday! It was so great to see him and for him and Jimmy to finally meet! He took usout to a great new restaurant called Red Fish Blue Fish (like the Dr. Seuss book). It was great food and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be returning. An now for some pictures.

A Weekend With the Gillie's
This weekend we headed over to the gorgeous Eden State Park near Washington Point, FL. We decided go here because of the 1970s horror film Frogs (starring Sam Elliott). It's so horrible it's hilarious and it was filmed at this state park. It was pretty fun to see where certain scenes were taken. We even did our best to dress like characters from te film and we dressed Sam as a frog. It's also just a really beautiful area.
After the state park we headed over to a restaurant called Fudpuckers. So good! And so fun! They have good southern food for a great price. They also have a gator pit! They have over 80 gators in their pit and they even have a rare albino gator named Pearl. There are only forty in the world! Now for the pics.

November Happenings
I can't believe I went so long between blog posts! This post will mostly pictures from our most recent adventures.
At the beginning of the month we went to a free outdoor concert put on by the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra. We love being classy like this and are quite pleased that Sam enjoyed it as well.
Last weekend for Veterans Day weekend we went up to Montgomery to visit Jimmy's parents. It was great to go away for a bit and for jimmy to not have to think about school. We took Sam to the Shakespeare park and spent a couple hours walking around.
We also went to the zoo! I'd never been to the Montgomery Zoo and I'm happy to report that it's a good one. The even had a ski lift ride through the park. My favorite part was feeding the giraffes. It was so fun! Plus Sam loves his toy giraffe so we wanted him to see a reel one.
This weekend we decided to go over to Mobile, AL. First we went to the USS Alabama memorial museum. It was so fun! I definitely couldn't survive living on a battleship.
And lastly we went to the Mobile Botanical Gardens. So beautiful. Sam lived getting to go on a walk and the weather couldn't have been better.
Well that's all for now...hopefully I'll do a better job with thanksgiving and Christmas coming up but no promises.
