1. He does something sweet and waits for me to discover it on my own. Today while I was waiting at the DMV, I decided to listen to my ipod. After a while, I started scrolling through playlists and discovered one titled "For Kyrstie From Jim". I knew that he had been spending a lot of time creating some playlist...I just didn't know that it was for me. Totally made my day.
2. He lets me complain about my day when his day is filled with getting yelled at by superior officers, having three minutes to eat, and practically no sleep. Right now Jimmy is in Officer's Training School and it is pretty rough. He gets up at 4:30 am and doesn't get to go to bed until 11 pm, is outside in the hot and humid Alabama weather for part of the day, and is being pushed to the limit in every other way imaginable. What a trooper.
3. He always makes me smile. Today I've been collecting pictures to put in Little Man's baby book and as I looked through them, I couldn't help but smile at how silly he acts in most of the pictures we have. But, I have to admit, it's one of my absolute favorite things about him. I've even posted the pictures that made me so happy.....
