Today Doran came home from overseas! It was so much fun getting to go to base and be there when he got of the plane. And now for the pictures!
That's all folks!

May Update
So, here is an update on Jimmy at OTS. Right now they are learning all about combative skills. Last week, a guy accidentally head butted him and sliced open Jimmy's eyelid. Not a pretty sight. So, off to the base hospital he went to get glued up. Everything is healing well, but he does have a black eye and for now, no more combative training.
Last Saturday was military appreciation night at the Montgomery Biscuits game and some of the OTS guys got to go...including Jimmy! It was so fun to get to walk around together and sit and enjoy the game together. So grateful for all the time we have been able to see each other!
Just warning you...from here on out, it's all baby stuff. Although my due date is July 1, 2013, my doctor is planning on inducing labor sometime in week 39 which means I'm a mere six weeks away from having a son! I'm excited and completely freaked out all at the same time. Last night it occurred to me that between the Gillie family reunion and Jimmy graduating from Officer's Training School, that really I have more like three weeks to get prepared. Thank goodness we will be staying with family when little guy comes!
Last night we headed off to Target to do some baby shower registering and had lots of fun doing that...or rather I should say Gail (my mother in law) and I had lots of fun doing that. So now I can cross that of the "to-do before baby comes" list! Woo Hoo!
Today, I tackled the oh so intimidating hospital bag packing. For those of you who frequent pinterest, you might notice that there are tons of pins about what to pack in your hospital bag. I'll admit that I scoured them. What can I say, I love doing research. However, I've come to the conclusion that some people are crazy packers....and I'm just not one of them. So I made my own list and got to work. For those of you who have gone through childbirth, please feel free to give advice about what you consider pointless to bring and what you consider essential to bring.
Well, that's all I've got. Hope y'all have a great week and thanks for stopping by!

All About Sara
So, this is a post that I've been meaning to do for the last two weeks. Shame on me for just now doing it! About two weekends ago, my fabulous sister, Sara, got to go to prom and had her 17th birthday! So much fun! Before I bombard you all with pictures, we just want to let Sara know how much we love her and how wonderful we think she is. She is such an excellent example of what a young woman today should be....she is kind, smart, cute (and modest!) and is always doing her best to do what is right. She is truly an amazing young woman who is going to make a difference to many people throughout her life. Sara, we love you!
Okay, picture time!
Here are some pictures from when her date, Joseph, picked her up. He was such a gentleman and won major points with us.

And here are the birthday pictures! We went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and then opened presents and cards.
Hope everyone is having a fantastic Sunday! 'Till next time, Kyrstie (and technically Jimmy, too :) )
